THE EASTAFRICAN EARTHQUAKE OF DEC EMBER 2007

THE EASTAFRICAN EARTHQUAKE OF DECEMBER 2007
BY ALEXANDER O’ KUNY JACK

For along time the prophesied earthquake to hit Nairobi has troubled me a great deal. I have read many world prophecies from catholic saints of ancient times but none terrifies me like the coming east African destruction. For most of 2007 a lot has been happening underneath the earth. The Indonesian earthquake with its multiple aftershocks, the Peruvian earthquake, tremors in England, Kenya and other parts of the world have been worrying.

December is the month of catastrophe for the east African countries if the prophecy comes out true. There are some folk who said that God had told them December would be the month. Even some children privileged with prophetic vision have spoken of the tremendous destruction that will strike. As I ask people whether they believe or not, many have said that with prayer all will be well.

I was in a neighboring country and I happened to open a Christian book on prayer, I cannot remember the name of the author or the title of her book. One page particularly caught my attention. The lord had shown the lady a vision of a section of a county of the united states of America. She saw massive waters flood the city. It wasn’t Katrina, so the lady called on everyone around that area to pray and folks did really pray.

The floods came to that town but no one died. With the Nairobi earthquake, I believe it will come at a time when people are in their offices, either on a December morning or afternoon this year. Some Kenyan Christians are prayerful, they will not stop the sudden massive earth movements which will strike Nairobi. The prayers said now will save the souls of the Kenyans who will die.

If the Indonesian earthquake destroyed thousands of homes, what about the Nairobi earthquake which will destroy even thousands more!? If buildings like the k.r.a, k.i.c.c, the mombasa road skyscraper belt and mid town Nairobi come down a section of the economy will be negatively affected for a long time, and may be jomo kenyata, Wilson and malindi airports will be left with deep cracks.

There is something iam not sure of, which is; where will the earthquake originate from?
The tremors affecting the country were being caused by the mountain in Tanzania. Geologists were saying that the tremors were as a result of large amounts of lava being spewed out of the mountain and this had created a vacuum. So the earth had to readjust itself and because of this adjustment the grounds were shaking all over the country.

Had the earth not adjusted itself to fill the vacuum caused by the expulsion of the lava, a major earthquake could have occurred in Kenya in june 2007 destroying the lives of thousands with a million more casualties. Another point not mentioned by geologists is the possibility that the earthquake may come from the depths of the Indian ocean.

If the grounds of Kenya were rumbling underneath in june, then there could have been some underground structures which were being chipped away or tipped out of balance which nobody knows such that should a tsunami come from the Indian ocean, it may trigger the Tanzanian mountain to react violently and cause devastation to Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
